GRADUATION!

Well it is offical...I graduated from UNT yesterday with my Bachelors in Applied Arts and Science from the Department of Public Affairs and Community Service. WOOOHOOO!!!! I just can't believe it has FINALLY happened! I dont think the reality of it will fully hit until Jan. when Robert goes back to school and I don't have to! The ceremony was nice...actually a little boring but okay. I was glad that my grandma from Maine was able to be there! We went and ate at Spring Creek BBQ after..mmmm!! I am just grateful for the opportunity I had to go to college and graduate. My plan now is to just keep working at the doctor's office hopefully full-time and apply once more to Nursing school since they have a fast track program if you already have a Bachelors. So we will see!!! At least now I can take a deep breath and have A LOT less stress in my life for now!

Smell of Christmas!

Today Robert and I bought our Christmas Tree and we LOVE it!! Last year was the first year we got a real tree and now we plan on getting one every year because not only are they beautiful but they smell AMAZING!! The whole apartment smells like Christmas thanks to the tree! We got a Fraiser Fir tree...we have to let it all come down before we put lights on it so tomarrow we will decorate it and the apartment!! I can't wait- it's amazing how just the smell of a pine tree/christmas can make you so relaxed and happy!!

Officially Addicted
I stayed home from school today to work on a paper I have to finish by midnight today and after a little bit of working on it I told myself I needed a "break" to think and decided the last episode of the Shield was the way to go..it helped!!

Amazing Galaxy
So I was talking to one of the doctor's I work for and he showed me this picture..his favorite. This is a picture from the Hubble satellite from Nasa. This picture is the farthest picture the satelite can take. Imagine standing on the top of the Earth and holding two needles infront of you in an X looking out at the universe..the point of that X is as big as this one shot...and each dot in this picture is a galaxy!! Imagine how many galaxies are in that small spot....which means the entire Galaxy we live in is HUGE!!! It just amazed me all the information he talked about in this picture...just really makes you in awe of our world and beyond and reaffirms my faith in Heavenly Father and all he has created...it's just amazing..there are barely words! Like when you think about Eternity and how when we die we will live for eternity...for ever with no end...and you get that little "glimpse" for a split second and it's just mind boggling! That is how I felt after looking at this picture and learning about it..how a tiny spec of the universe can have so many galaxies..and just how big the universe truly is. It is just amazing all that Heavenly Father has created! So I thought id just share this cool picture with whoever reads this. If you want to find out about it you can go to http://hubblesite.org and check it out...it's just so interesting to me reading about astronomy and the miracle and "enormousness" of it (if thats a word!)Tuesday, November 11, 2008
Sick and Stressed..what's new?!
So I have not done much this past week except be sick and work. I had a viral infection last week..sore throat, cough, congestion....which I thought was getting better on saturday..but no..now it's turned into a Sinus infection that hurts SO bad and everything aches! UGGHHH!! Just venting frustration because I dont have time to be sick...at least I got to miss a little school but now I just feel behind because I have a test online today and I have to write a speech that I have to give tomarrow..HELP!!! How are you supposed to do schoolwork when you feel awful?! Oh well..just...A month and 2 days until I graduate!! (if I pass!!!) That's all that's going on...Just busy, sick, and stressed!!
