So I just read this article on Yahoo and these stories always make me tear up! This little 6 year old boy had a birthday party at school and there was a big present there for him and when he opened it up it was his Dad in a box. His Dad is in the military and is on a two week leave from Iraq during his 2nd tour...I can just imagine the little boy's face when he saw his dad. Does Anyone else get teary eyed when they watch soldiers come home to their families?!?! Surely I am not the only one!
I just wanted to share this sweet story. I am so grateful for our soldiers and for the sacrifice they make each and every day for our nation's safety. No matter what your political beliefs are and if you think we should/shouldn't be fighting right now...we are and those soldiers are sacrificing their lives and being away from their families for a year at a time, sometimes more for our country. God Bless America!!

Do you remember that commercial where the soldiers were walking though the airport, and everyone started clapping for them. That one makes me ball....so no, you are not the only one.
I HATE that commercial...I bawl too!! And I remember getting an email about something like that happening in real life!
